Jethro was bowler of the Year in Gr 6 and Gr 7 at L/skool Garsfontein. He started playing First Team Cricket for H/skool Garsfontein at the end of Gr 9, to become the most promising player, top bowler and ultimately batting at No. 6. He is an all-rounder with top fielding skills, and has taken the most catches in various matches and international tours.
