What Do We Mean By Membership?
For us membership is not just about adding names to an out-dated membership role, but rather an invitation and subsequent commitment by all our members to uphold our purpose and vision. This is our endeavour, even though we know we are all fallible and will probably fall well short of these ideals.
We nonetheless invite all our members to subscribe to the following membership commitment:
We desire to see all people COME to faith in Jesus Christ
With God's help I will...
- Pray for the church’s continuous growth
- Invite those outside the church to attend
- Warmly welcome those who visit the church
- Constantly bear witness to Christ in my daily life
- Share the Gospel with those God brings across my path
- “Then the Master told his servant, ‘Go to the roads and paths! Urge the people to come to my house. I want it to be full.’” (Lk. 14:23, GW)

- “So warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified” (Rom 15:7, LB)
So that they may be HEALED of their brokenness
With God's help I will...
- Confess my sins daily to the Lord
- Find healing and restoration through the ministry of the Holy Spirit
- Pray for, comfort, support and encourage those who are in need and
- Demonstrate the love of Christ to all by sharing their burdens
- “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 Jn. 1:8-9, NIV)
- “`Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.’” (Jer. 33:6, NIV)

- “Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Gal. 6:10, NIV)
